Safety Guidelines for Covid-19
At Ironwood Acupuncture, your health is always our ultimate priority. In these changing times, we are committed to offering you the care you need, while ensuring an experience that is as safe as possible as we all learn to navigate life with Covid-19.
Below you’ll find our safety guidelines and cleaning policies. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Heightened Visitor Screening
To ensure the health and safety of all our clinic visitors, we ask all visitors to sign a health declaration stating they do not have symptoms of Covid-19. We also take all visitors’ temperatures and those with a temperature higher than 100 degrees will be rescheduled for a later date.
We ask that you do not come in for your scheduled treatment if you have any of the following symptoms, as recommended by the CDC:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
If you experience any of these symptoms prior to your visit, please contact us and we will help you cancel or reschedule without a cancellation fee. Virtual services may be available to help those experiencing symptoms safely.
Personal Protective Equipment
Candace Jordan, L.Ac and any additional staff will wear a surgical mask at all times. Visitors and patients are required to wear a mask when inside the clinic.
Enhanced Cleaning Procedures
In addition to our normal cleaning procedures and regular hand washing, enhanced cleaning measures are taken between each patient. CDC-approved cleaners and UV-light is used to sanitize the treatment rooms, bathroom, and common areas.

When possible, please choose to pay with a contactless method.
